Chile, South America

The Flinck’s arrived in the city of Antofagasta, Chile in May 2011 with the goal to start a reproducing New Testament local church. The city is growing rapidly due to the copper mining industry and there is a tremendous spiritual need. In June 2012, the Lord provided the funds for GMSA to purchase a mission house in Antofagasta to house the Flinck’s and to be used as a meeting place for the growing church plant. Currently, a core group of believers is being formed and leaders trained with the goal of constituting the church.

Togo, Africa

Currently raising support. From Josh: “I will be partnering with a team in Togo, Africa in an effort to bring The Light to this dark area. I will be coming on the team to be a Church Planting Coach. I will build relationships with the local people, share the Gospel and disciple and train future Togolese pastors. I will be a part of all church planting operations such as, selecting specific demographic areas that are prime locations of urban development to influence as many Togolese as possible in that area. I will also be working closely with all current church plant leaders and pastors in an effort to align our ministry and reach the most people possible with the Gospel.”

District Executive Minister of Converge Heartland

Converge Heartland’s Vision: A Gospel-Centered Church Bringing Transformation to Every Heartland Community!

Converge Heartland’s Mission: Starting and strengthening churches throughout the Converge Heartland District which spans from North Dakota through Oklahoma, including the I-29 corridor of Missouri. Forty-one percent of the 11 million Heartland District inhabitants do not regularly attend or affiliate with any local church at all. Our present response to this challenging reality is that we currently have 57 Heartland District Churches with an aggregate weekly attendance of roughly 8,000 people. There is much more that must be done and, in His power, will be done.
